"When I arrived at Kyoto in the early morning it was not yet time for check-in, but the kind lady at the front desk helped us complete the check-in formalities and store our luggage, so that when we returned in the afternoon (there was quite a queue), we only needed to get our key cards (the same lady we met in the morning and she recognised us right away) and we were extremely grateful that our luggage were already placed in our room."

i found the room quite spacious, a definite advantage . the hotel provided complimentary bottled water daily, helpful. i also appreciated the proximity to the station! though the parking was expensive, i used it once.
The check-in process was a little slow. it was a bit crowded upon my arrival. Waiting in line was necessary.

Really good Location and Clean Rooms

I found the location convenient. It was right next to the train station. The room was spacious and very clean upon arrival. Daily towel replacements and cleaning services every two days were provided. They also included complimentary coffee, tea, water, and facial care kits, which i found very useful.
The hotel breakfast offered the exact same items every day. There was no fresh fruit juice available. The juice came from a soda dispenser. This felt unusual compared to other hotels i've stayed at.

The hotel provided direct access to Shinkansen and Kansai airport limited express trains, a HUGE plus for travellers. An in-room massage service, bookable at reception, offered very fair prices and skilled masseurs. This was especially beneficial after long days of sightseeing.
